Ryan has worked with Upton Technologies since 2010. In the late 90s, he began doing repair work and upgrades for himself and a few friends. For most of the 2000s, he performed residential computer repair but found himself more intrigued with cybersecurity. After joining Upton Technologies, he has focused on helping companies grow their cybersecurity posture.

Ryan holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, as well as numerous industry certifications. He is an active member of several industry organizations and local education and non-profit organizations where he tries to teach the next generation not just tech but also risk awareness and life skills.
